6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Student Athletes' Parents: Contact practice will start tomorrow as shown on the calendar that will be posted on the website, as well as TeacherEase. We will follow all guidelines put in place by IESA and VCHD. If you have any questions, please reach out to the head coach or Sara Parkerson. Sports are Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, and Volleyball. There will not be Cheerleading this year.
We are returning to school tomorrow! Don’t forget to return your iPads and Chromebooks!

PGS Parents/Guardians: We are forever grateful for how supportive you have been during this transition to remote learning for 2 weeks. We couldn't have done it without you. You have held your kids accountable and we have had great attendance on our live meetings. Two days down, 5 more to go! Reminder there is "no school" on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11. It is Veterans Day. If you need anything, do not hesitate to reach out to Ms. Freeman.
Device pick-up (for those who filled out the survey or kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 5th) will be tomorrow from 4pm-6pm. Please follow the car rider drop off and pick up route. We will be at the doors that students enter in the morning, not the gym doors.

Pre-k still had their Halloween party but a little distanced. We played bingo, ate treats, made paper candy corn, and played pumpkin walk.
PGS Families - As you are aware, COVID cases are popping up in our community, as well as Vermilion County. Please keep this in mind as you celebrate Halloween this weekend. Remember to practice social distancing, wear a mask, and wash your hands! Stay Safe!

Second graders joined together with their families to create a pumpkin book report!! They did an amazing job!

On Thursday, November 5th, the PGS 4th-8th graders are participating in the first ever PGS5K Walk/Run/Race, and we would like to invite their parents to come see them compete.
On 5K day, there will be designated areas for the parents to stand and cheer on their runner. The 5K starts at 9:00am, we would encourage everyone to be parked and in place by 8:45am due to our parking lots both being part of the 5K course.
Since we will be outside, masks are not required, but will be necessary if you want to interact with students after their 5K. Social Distancing will also be required while spectating.
The event will be over by 10:30am at the latest.
